We teach secondary school students how to use AI tools responsibly and effectively to help them study for their assessments
Our high impact workshops equip students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to be responsible and effective users of generative AI tools. Through adopting a balanced, risk-aware, and measured approach to teaching AI literacy skills, we empower your students to thrive as critical and reflective users of generative AI technologies.
now is the time for ai literacy education
Approximately 80% of Australian secondary school students use generative AI tools to help them study. Many of these students use this technology ineffectively and over-rely on it, reducing their motivation to engage in independent learning and harming their prospects of academic success. The Victorian Department of Education has encouraged Victorian secondary schools to educate students on how to responsibly and effectively use generative AI tools.
There is a skills gap - and we are on a mission to close it.
At Genesis, we empower students to use generative AI technologies as tools to complement and enhance their independent learning and critical analysis, not to replace it.
We achieve this by running engaging, evidence-based workshops that teach students the information, skills, habits and behaviours they require to become informed, risk-aware and responsible users of generative AI technologies.
We recently piloted our workshop to students and educators:
of students, post-workshop, felt very confident in their ability to write effective prompts.
98%
of students agreed that the skills we teach are important for every student to learn.
100%
of students stated that they would recommend the workshop to other VCE students.

“Kobi's workshop was incredibly useful for students as they head into VCE. Kobi didn’t just show students how to use AI, he taught them how to use it well. By breaking down key concepts, modelling effective prompting, and helping students recognise unreliable AI responses, Kobi equipped them with practical, future-focused skills they can apply immediately in their VCE studies. The session empowered students to think critically, ask better questions, and use AI as a tool for deeper understanding, not shortcuts. These are essential literacy skills for senior students navigating an AI-rich world, and Kobi delivered them with clarity, confidence, and care.”
